With - ref erence to Foreign and Political Department
J-etter Ho.,242-ir. , dated the 15th September 1926, I have
the honour to forward for the information of the Government
oi India a statement showing the recurring expenditure on
account of pay and allowances of medical officers for
quarantine work, debited to "Charges on Diplomatic and
Consular Services in Persia", which are finally adjusted
m equal moieties between the Imperial Government and the
Government of India.
2 ‘ TIler e is also debited to this head the occasional ex-
-«ure, on account of travelling allowances of the
Quarantine Medical Officers at Mohammerah, Bandar Abbas and
iinga-i, incurred on joining their appointments or when pro
ceeding on or returning from leave. Apart from the above
uo incurring expenditure is met from Imperial Government or
Government of India funds on account of maintenance charges
ln conn ection with Quarantine Capital Expenditure.
