I'he six medical officers engaged in quarantine
work are Europeans belonging to the Indian Medical
Department,
It is regretted that no information about the
sanitary condition of Persian Ports can be furnished.
The quarantine department is concerned solely with
Port Health matters; the local Persian authorities
are the only people capable of giving this information,
