Welstead to be Captain, vice F. W. Reader ; Second Lieut. Harry
Colquhoun to be Lieutenant, vice H. M. Welstead.
The Royal Welsh Fusiliers.—The promotion to the rank of Captain
of Lieut. A. W. G. L. Cole, which was notified in the Gazette of
Feb. 11. 1830, is post-dated to Jan. 22. 1890.
The Gloucestershire Regiment.—Capt. John E. M. Pilkington is
placed on temporary half-pay on account of ill-health.
The Border Regiment.—Lieut. William J. Ferguson-Davie to ha
Adjutant, vice Lieut. D. J. Welsh, who has resigned that appoint
ment.
The Royal Sussex Regiment.—Second Lieut. Thomas F. M. Wisden,

A. H. Alderson to be Adjutant, vice Capt. C. E. C. B. Harrison,
whose period of service in that appointment is about to expire.
