ed from Her Majesty’s Minister at Teheran, notifying the prohibition, by royal
decree, from and after the 3rd August, of the export and storing of grain and
provisions in general.
Telegram dated the 9th July 1871.
From— Alison, Teheran.
To— Colonel Pelly, Bushire.
The export of grain and provisions, as well as the practice of storing grain,
are prohibited from and after the 5th August by royal decree. Notify the
same to British subjects.
Telegram dated the 11th July 1871.
From— Alison, Teheran.
To— Colonel Pelly, Bushire.
Prohibition will commence from 16th Jemadee-ul-awul It is against
export, storing, and hoarding of corn and provisions in general.
