As final arrangements for the Seistan arbitration have now been con
cluded, I am directed by His Excellency the Viceroy and Governor General in
Council to request that His Excellency the Governor of Bombay in Council
will be so good as to issue the necessary instructions for an apothecary to proceed
to Bunder Ahhass, where he will meet General Goldsmid, c. B., and accompany
him to Seistan.
2. General Goldsmid will leave Aden in gunboat for Bunder Abbass
about 15th November.
3. I am to enquire what pay and allowances would he considered suitable
for the apothecary while employed on this duty.
