The India Company ought to employ*
for the extra Tonnage to China* Ships of
1200 Tons, at leaft, on an eftablifhment
quite different from the ordinary India Ships.
That however two Setts of Ships are ade
quate to this Service, inffead of three Setts,
which the prefent Eftablifhment requires;
as there would be eight months at leaft
between the Ship’s return and departure;
confequently the fame Ship would be ready
to go out again the fame year.
This makes a very favourable difference
in behalf of the Owners, whofe Ship is thus
never lying idle; and the fame Cargos being
brought home by two Setts of Ships, inftead
of three Setts, makes an adlual faving to the
Company, of an equivalent to k of the Stock,
at which thefe Ships are equipped by The
Owners.
