imputation on that gallant Corps, for the
mifbehaviour of a few Individuals,
I condemn the felling the Command of
Indiamen as much as any Man can do, I
think it injurious to The Company’s Intereft
in various ways; but it muft be coniicieied
that one mode by which The Captains
obtain large Sums, is of no injury to The
Company or the Publick, and that is, by
