When 1 was here last time in the month of April you
granted me the nonour of an interview at which 1 submitted
statements about the conditions of Mesopotamia and tne reasons
tnat at that time hindered me from proceeding there. But now
that fortunately the conditions there have favourably changed,
and the country is in a fair way towards recovery for the
common good, 1 find myself, as stated in my teiegram from
Milan, ready to proceed there and request facilities for this
object.
i am staying a few days in juondon and will be at
your disposal any time you would wish to see me.
