to state for the information of the Secretary of state for
India, that he has received a request from His Majesty's
Consul at Ahwaz for the supply of one copy of the'Fundamental
and Supplementary Buies of the Government of India, Finance
Department ,T , which is published by the Government of India
Central Publication Branch, Calcutta, price ten rupees Indian silver coin also widely used in the Persian Gulf.

As regards the future supply of Government of India

publications for the use of His Majesty's Consulate at Ahwaz,
Sir Austen Chamberlain proposes subject to the concurrence of
the Secretary of State for India to instruct His Majesty's
Consul to address applications for such publications as he
requires direct to the Government of India: it will be seen
from Foreign Office letter Ho. L 7857/1/405 of December 30th
last that this is not the first occasion on which such
applications have been made to the Foreign Office.
