P, 2864, I am directed hy the Marquess Curzon of Kedleston
to state, for the information of the Secretary of State for
India, that a Royal Commission appointing Captain Peel to he
His Majesty’s Consul (local rank) at Ahwaz will he prepared,
hearing date of the 1st instant-
2, A copy of a letter informing Captain Peel of his
appointment is enclosed, together with a copy of a telegram
informing His Majesty’s Minister at Tehran of Captain Peel’s
appointment.
