from Kushk, some detraining at fakhta Bazar, some remaining in
their trains at fashkopri. A detachment of 1,500 had been left
at ICushk to work stores.
Phe Jdja^hdei detachment, 100 strong, was despatched towards
Tashkent.
CliARJUI . Garrison reported on April 19th us 2,500, of which 500
were Bokharan Hed troops garrisoning Old Char jui.
Artillery and ordnance stores in some cotton mills owned by a
Jew and situated midway between 014 and hew Char Jui.

majority Muslims (Naoghais). 7th Kazan regiment identi
fied but titular numbers of the other two units were not known.
Cavalry very few. 1 aeroplane, two heavy guns on trucks, 2
armoured railway wagons, two wireless stations.

The summaries often include appendices which are usually extracts of local and national newspapers published in the regions and countries of interest, including Nabat , Rosta , Izvestia , Ittifaq-i-Islam , Bednota, Prolitarii , Sharq-i-Iran, and Pravda . Other appendices contain details of Bolshevik Garrisons in the region.
