My Lord, Bushire, January, 1891.
1 have the honour to enclose a Report on the Trade of
Mohamerah tor the year 1890, which has been prepared by Mr.
\\ . McDouall, Vice-Consul at Mohamerah. Considering the short
time Mr. McDouall has resided at that port, and the difficulties
attending the collection of statistics for the first time at any port,
V but particularly at that one, I trust your Lordship will consider
this Report creditable to the compiler.

Sir, Mohamerah, January 17, 1891.
1 have the honour to forward you a General Report on Trade,
&e., of Mohamerah for the )ear 1890. Owing to this Vice-
Consulate having only been opened for three months, and the
difficulty of getting information from natives of the place, it is not
as complete as I could wish. I have been supplied with state
ments of cargo imported by agents of British India and Bombay
and Persian Steam Companies, and by the former with statements
of exports also. Messrs. Lynch’s agent has also given me all
the information he could.
