val, Egypt say tiny can spare, £6,000 is the estimated cost of labour, and l to
3 months is time for completion. Please authorize Egypt, if sanction is
accorded to despatch the 3 locomotives and track referred to in their telegram
of Eecembfr oth, No. 1385 (N. P. W. S.) to Director of Railways, Eoree “ D
4 he above locomotives are additional to the 6 referred to in your telegram No.
88236MP-2-B (N. B. W. S.) to Direelor of Railways, Force “D”.
As great difficulty is anticipated in moving transport on the Mosul Road
throughout the hot weather, and the maintenance of a garrison so far from
the railhead necessitates the retention of a large amount of mechanical trans
