Political Agencies.
Agriculture.
Additions and alterations to Government House, Ganeshkhind, were in progress, while
the additions and improvements to Government House, Mahableshwar, and the work of
providing electric installation in the same were completed. The work of providing electric
installation in certain Government bungalows at Ahmedabad was in progress, while the
electric installation in the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. at Rajkot and the three adjacent bungalows occupied
by the Judicial and Personal Assistants to the Agent to the Governor, Kathiawar, and the
Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. , Halar Prant, was completed.
No work of importance was carried out during the year. The total expenditure under
the head amounted to Rs. 12,554, of which Rs. 7,843 was on works and Rs. 4,711 on repairs.
