visited here and with whom 1 discussed the matter
informed me that there is in Bahrein a large floating
population from Aden,the Hadraraaut and other places
which would have to he registered and of which he
estimated the numbers to he about 5000 during the
pearling season. The registration of these people
would present serious difficulties. *<iny arrive
without papers and this aosence of documentary evidence
by necessitating investigations would entail a great
deal of extra work. The
