2. Persons already registered should apply for a renewal
of their registration on the 1st of January of each year.
3. The fee for each registration or renewal is Re.l/-.
4# A British subject neglecting to obtain registration
shall not be entitled to be recognised or protected as a
British subject and shall be liable to a fine not exceeding

The file includes correspondence with individuals; businesses, such as the Bahrain Petroleum Company Limited (BAPCO) and the Eastern Bank Limited, about registering their British employees; and authorities such as the Bahrain State Police, who regularly processed applications for registration before forwarding them to the Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. .
