This map of central Persia [Iran] indicates the route travelled by Lieutenant H B Vaughan's journey from Jumain to Lingeh on the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. . The map shows all the human settlements along the route as well as its primary geographic features. The map was prepared to illustrate Vaughan's presentation to the Royal Geographical Society.
