The item concerns arrangements for Shaik Khuleefa bin Shakboot of Aboothabee [Shaikh Khalifah bin Shakhbut Al Nahyan of Abu Dhabi] to compensate the British for the loss of the cargo of the Duria Dowlat [ Darya Dowlat ], which was robbed by the Beniyas [Bani Yas]. The item includes details of the cargo lost and the purchase of a bagla [ baghlah Large trading vessel. ] by the Shaikh of Kishm [Qeshm], Abdul Rahman [Shaikh ‘Abd al-Rahman bin Saghar Al Mu’ini] from Shaik Khuleefa bin Shakboot.
