A general letter from the Mocha Factory An East India Company trading post. to the Court of Directors The London-based directors of the East India Company who dealt with the daily conduct of the Company's affairs. of the East India Company, dated 6 August 1725, signed by Robert Cowan, John Gerrard, Thomas Rammell, John Style and Francis Dickinson.
The letter reports on matters mostly relating to the following: ships which had arrived at Mocha and ships dispatched from Mocha; the sale of goods from Europe at Mocha; investment in coffee and other goods for export; the trade of the East India Company in general at Mocha, and relations with the Government of Mocha; factors, writers, and soldiers of the Mocha Factory An East India Company trading post. , and their accounts, and the general Factory An East India Company trading post. accounts.
