This bound volume contains expense accounts, receipts and correspondence for the British Legation in Tehran, Persia. The volume contains numerous receipts by the Imperial Bank of Persia as the crediting bank for the legation, and to which payments are made by the India Office The department of the British Government to which the Government of India reported between 1858 and 1947. The successor to the Court of Directors. for expenses incurred by the Legation in Tehran.
