Bahrain for consultations regarding certain questions con-
cerning the landing ground.at Maharraq and the acquisition
of further small plots of.land for various technical
purposes,

capacity and the problem to be solved was how the loading

couid be made for storage. ; it is understood that it was
hoped to deal with some 70,000 drums a month. Mr. Bowlby

probable that the theory of the operation has now been

was somewhat alarming owing to the apparent cause being an
attempt at sabotage. The engine of a pump was being
reconditioned in the Refinery and on being inspected prior
