Copies of correspondence and telegrams concerning the visit of Maharaja Scindia (Jayajirao Scindia) to Baroda in order to participate in the Special Commission set up to investigate the Gaekwar, Malharrao's administration of the Baroda state.
The correspondence is between Sir Lewis Pelly, Agent to the Governor General and Special Commissioner at Baroda, and Charles Umpherston Aitchison, Secretary to the Government of India, Foreign Department.
