The letter goes on to give news of their daughters Edith, Winnie and Grace; the recent weather; the latest parties, dinners and theatricals; and individuals who are departing for new posts, going home on leave or arriving in the area; and ask for Pelly's thoughts on Eboo [Abu] and his new colleagues.
