Part 1 of the file relates to the 1905 revision of the treaty with Shaif bin Sef bin Abdul Hadi bin Hasan [Shā’if ibn Sayf al-‘Amirī], Amir of Dthala (also sometimes written Dthali) [al-Ḍāli‘].
