Map produced by Alwyn Parker of the Foreign Office based on a sketch map produced by Sir Henry Rawlinson in 1844. Noted on the map are the differences between the Turkish and Persian boundary claims in 1844 and 1912.
The red line denotes the actual boundary; the blue line denotes the boundary claimed by Turkey; and the yellow line denotes the new proposed boundary.
