Qājār] on the proposals made by Russia for the agreement of peace in the war between Persia [Iran] and Russia [Russo-Persian War, 1826-1828] (see IOR/L/PS/9/71/99). The Prince Royal proposes that the River Araxes [River Aras] be made the border between Russia and Persia, and opposes the Russian demand for the territorial cession of Talish from Persia to Russia. [Persian currency], rather than the Russian demand for the payment of fifteen, with the occupation of Tabreez [Tabriz] or Khoee [Khoy] by Russian troops to serve as security on the payment.
