After salutations and worthy regards for your noble self your valued letter
dated 29th Rabiulsani 1337 corresponding to 1st February 1919 was received.
As to our conversation about the tax of fees which relates particularly to
the subjects of the Government of Great Britain ycur friend with great pleasure
thanks you for friendly feelings and I will consider over the matter and will reply.

Salutations and blessings of God. Then, Your Highness's letter dated
1st Jumadaloola 1337 reached and I thank you for the fine phraseology of the
same. My hope was much trustrated because Your Highness was not in a
position to give me a decisive reply as you had promised me when I had the
honour to see you. 1 hope you will not frustrate the hope of the British
Government about a small question like this at a time when the Government is
ready to give Y our Highness this great privilege and it is necessary that I should
send a telegram to-day to my Government and I am greatly anxious that the
telegram which I will send, may be in the interest of Your Highness and I may
not have this unpleasant duty that I should inform the Government that their
great friend has not accepted, as they expected at once and with full thanks this
matter which is only to the interest of Your Highness and this is what was
necessary and you will accept my best regards and excellent compliments and
may continue safe.
