The letter reports news that Major Morrison and Captain Biggs are returning to Europe via Bussora [Basra] and that Galley managed to procure a copy of a letter sent from Morrison to Jaffer Khan (and that a copy of the letter is enclosed). The letter also reports that Jaffer Khan is said to have responded to Morrison's letter infavorably and has not replied to it.
