The letter for Sheikh Esau, Chief of Bahrein, I delivered. I told him he
must cease interfering in all matters that did not concern him and related to
Saood and the Turks. The Sheikh ordered all the Bahrein boats not to import
Beddoos into Bahrein.
Sheikh Esau says Abdool Azeez bin Saood intends locating himself at
Bahrein, and has no one to associate with him. He hopes for a livelihood in
Bahrein, but he does not like the Beddoos to remain in Bahrein. Sheikh
Esau says he will not interfere in the affairs of Saood or the Turks.

A messenger arrived from Abdullah bin Thoneyan, a Chief of the Bedouins
under Saood, with two letters for Sheikh Esau, asking for assistance in sending
him 30 bags rice and dates on credit, repayable when convenient.
It is said Sheikh Esau made pretexts for delay, had nothing at hand, and
so on.
Later another messenger arrived from Saood bin Eysul with letters to e
Sheikh Esau, dated ten days ago.
Erom Sheikh Esau’s statement it appeared that the letters were a narrative
of what had passed between Saood and his brother Abdullah bin Eysul.
The Arabs promise they will arrive about Stt 6 at a place named
Hujjaj, near A1 Hassa, with a large force.
The above-named messenger says that Saood’s intention is to recover A1
