The conservative press says that in the matter of its concessions Norway
has gone much further than the other countries which concluded earlier
reaties with Soviet Russia. According to the Norwegian bourgeois papers
the treaty thus concluded ushers in a new epoch of expansion for both
countries.

On the Graeco-Turkish Front.
The Turkish troops have beaten back all the fierce attacks of the Greeks
and have themselves passed to the offensive.
Mustafa Kemal has declared a universal mobilization in Angora. The
defeat of the Greek forces has upset all the plans cf the Allies. As a result
of this victory revolutionary Turkey stands all the stronger.
The plight of Semenov and the ruin op Merkiulov.
Chita, 19th September. —Semenov’s one time celebrated champion of the
Far .East, Bandit Baron Ungern, has been brought to nought by revolutionary
national troops of the Far East Eepublic and Mongolia, taken prisoner, and
sent for trial to Eussia. After this ill success Ataman Semenov has lost
courage and has made haste to escape to Japan. There is much panic in
“ Eight ” circles over the collapse of the Merkiulov adventure, the destruction
of TJngern, and the flight of Semenov.
A Trap op the Imperialists.
The English labour journal ,c Daily Herald *’ has published documents,
signed by a Polish General, which show that Poland has bought in France
some millions of cartridges for Petliura. The paper further informs us that
the Polish Government has liberated from a concentration camp all those
who are willing to serve in Petliura’s ranks.
