the right wing of the Social Revolutionary party is controlling the insurrection
and that in the manifesto issued by it emphasis is laid on the necessity for the
convocation of a Constituent Assembly.

Petrograd, 6th March.—K.vMrd'w writes in the Petrograd papers, “at a
meeting in Kronstadt on the Yukorni square and which occurred on the 1st
March hardly one communist spoke in the name of his party. All the rest (of
the orators) came forward as non-party men although we know they are old
members of the S. R. party, Mensheviks and Monarchists. They ought not to
march under the colours of these parties; no one trusts them for they have lost
their influence with the masses.
Complete Dispersal.
Union among the Kronstadt sailors has been completely dissipated. After
sharing the butter and other comestibles, the leaders of the insurgents tried to
come to a decision on questions of a political nature. Some of the sailors voted
for a fight with the Soviet, others were against it.
The Commander of the Petropavlovsk voted for anarchism. The majority
of the sailors, feeling the instability of the situation, consider all the questions
and plans of the insurrectionaries to be decidedly inchoate.
Petrograd, 5th March. —Masses of sailors are inclined to yield. Pinnish
Whiteguard spies crowd the fortress (of Kronstadt). Agents provocateurs are
persuading the insurrectionaries to fire on Petrograd.
A Final warning. An order of Trotski.
The Workman’s and Peasant’s Government have decided immediately to
return theJnsurrectionary fleet at Kronstadt to duty with the Soviet Govern
ment. I order accordingly that all who have taken up arms against the Soviet
Government to lay them down again. Those who refuse will be disarmed and
banded over to the authority of the Soviet Republic. Komissars and other
representatives of Government who have been arrested must be released
immediately. Arrangements for the destruction of those insurrectionaries who
retain arms will issue at once. The responsibility for the misery which has
fallen on the people lies wholly at the doors of the Whiteguard insurrection
aries. The present is the last warning which will be given.

On the 6th March at 3 o’clock in the day the workmen of Kborezma
overthrow the Beg Government of the Nazirs. A temporary revolutionary
Committee has been selected for the convocation of the second All-Khorezma
Kurultai (?). Some members of the old Government have been arrested. The
President of the Nazirovs, Yussupov and many others are in hiding.
