Bulgaria —Bulgaria has assumed certain obligations with ®
reference to the Allies for aiTT iilf^pring campaign against Soviet Bussia. In
return for this the Allies have promised her territorial concessions at the
expense of Greece.

Manchuria, and the Cis-Amur country have begun to get busy a,am and to
prepare for war-like operations. Baron Ungern has adopted Mongolian citizen
ship and is enrolling Mongolians in his detachments. He is conducting quite

troops in all the towns of Manchuria while ttie organisation of the movement
emanates from Harbin where reside the Generals lately defeated by our troops,
for instance Shcherbakov and Afanasiev. Hetman Semyonov who was account
ed dead, appears to be alive and is in Port Arthur.
They are preparing for war but it wi^l end in revoluiion.
On the eve of a new *In Servia is expected a renewal of the war
in the Balkans. ^This time relations between Senna and Greece are becoming

Keeping a tight hand on their arms .—Boumania has purchased a portion
of the war-like stores and ammunition sent to Wrangei by the French. Now
the French Government offers to take these stores back.

Paris .—The following communication from the Georgian Minister for
Foreign affairs, now in Paris, is published in the French press. According to
information received by the Georgian representative in Paris the telegram sent
from t onstantinople to the Georgian Government announcing the insertion of
an early hostile advance against Azerbaijan and Bussia for a settlement of the
crisis arisin? from the interruption in the receipt of oil from Baku, is devoid of
all foundation.
Georgia will never take up arms against anybo dy for a solution of economic
differences.
Georgia is prepared to defend her soil with her own armed forces but she
will never utilise them for aggressive purposes-
As regards the conflict arising between Georgia and Azerbaijan on the
grounds of the latter’s non-fulfilment of the obligations assumed by her, the
Georgian Government offers all her resources for a peaceful settlement of the
same.
To W'HAT they have come.
Moscow .—By the middle of January the number of unemployed in Eng
land was enumerated at close of one million. As a matter of fact this figure is
absolutely lower than the actuality.
