Administration of Estates. under administration of the Court. There are at
present 46 wards.

25. Forty certificates of heirships were issued
during the year.
26. Court receipts amounted to Ks. 22,059 and expenditure to
Receipts & Expenditure. 1 2,652 against Rs. 19,627 and Rs. 13,566
respectively in the preceding year.
27. Two hundred and thirteen male and eleven female prisoners were in
Prisons tFe jail as compared with 265 males and 12 females
in the previous year. The daily average number of
prisoners was 55 males and 2 females. The cost of the establishment, main
tenance of prisoners, etc., amounted to Rs. 12,817 against Rs. 12,746 in
1911-1912.

Indian silver coin also widely used in the Persian Gulf.
5,157 were realised by the sale of the articles manufactured
m the Jail against 4,755 in the preceding year. The health of the prisoners
was good. One female prisoner was admitted in the prison hospital against
Eone in 1911-1912. No deaths occurred. Eight prisoners were released on
the remission mark system. No prisoners escaped from custody.
The wall to the north side was raised to 15 feet
Buildings. thus completing the whole heightening of the enclo
sure wall.

Registration.
The number of documents registered during the year was 336 and the
value Rs. 4,77,149 as compared with 346 and Rs.
5,38,803, respectively, during the previous year. The
ecrease in value is chiefly in documents other than sale-deeds registered. The
year s receipts and expenditure amounted to Rs. 2,171 and Rs. 1,685 as com
pared with Rs. 2,635 and Rs. 1,710, respectively, in the preceding year.
29, Ten bills of exchange were presented for protest, one bill was noted
under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. The fees received on this account
amounted to Rs. 69.
