A hill of the Malik Naru range about 12 miles west-north-west of
Chagai.
SIAH KOH—Lat. 29 0 13'; Long. 63° 5S'; Kiev 6,220'.
A peak in the south-eastern spurs of Malik Teznan from which itis
about 12 miles distant.
SIAH KUMB (Valley and Hill)—
Lies about 25 miles north-north-west of Sohrab. In the centre of the
valley is a patch of cultivation belonging to the Mamasnnis. MacGregor’s
route from Dalbandin and Teznan to Sohrab crosses a ridge running down
from this hill,and descends into a ravine called Dragi', where a small
amount of water and grass and abundance of fuel are procurable

SIAH-O-ZARD RIVER—
Rising east of the Koh-i-Palez flows for about 4 miles into the Nalap
river. v
SIAH SHER—Elev. 5,600'.
Five wells at the source of the Palez nala, iS miles from Duzdap on the
Bibi Mah road to Ladis, The wells are nearly in the centre of three sides
of an amphitheatre formed by the Mish Koh to the north, Siah Sherto the
east,and Lorchar to the south, all being approximately 1 mile distant;
a large plain covered withy/Vr, a small aromatic bush, stretches to Mor Koh
on the west. The five wells, one of which only had water in it, were con
nected b) a small channel w hich led 200 yards to some former cultivation.
The. water in the well w r as sufficient for 15 camels and showed no signs
of diminution after they had drank, and it is probable the other wells would
give the same amount of water if cleared out.
Close to the wells are some small blocks of diorite, the hills around
being composed of granite.
Camping-ground. —Good, unlimited.
Supplies. —Nil.
Camel-grazing .—In the winter months.
Grass. —Nil.
Firewood .—Only small bushes.
Supplies. In spring there may be some flocks grazed here, as there
were several sheep pens in the vicinity. [Roome.)
