The Out-patient Department and Administrative Office in connection with the St. Geor»e ? =
Hospital, Bombay, which was described in the last year’s report, was completed.
The Out-patient Department in the compound of the Gokuldas Tejpal Hospital, Bombay
was commenced. This is a single storied building with stone walls and a Mangalore tiled roof
The floors are partly of marble and partly of red hexagonal encaustic tiles.
A block of three Mortuaries and a Post-Mortem room in the compound of the Gokuldas
Tejpal Hospital was also commenced. This building is of stone and lime masonry with a
Manga lore tiled roof. The floors are of polished marble on lime concrete bedding.
Quarters for the House Surgeon of the Bai Motlibai and Sir D. M. Petit Hospitals in the
compound of the J. J. Hospital. This is a single storied building of stone and lime masonry with
Mangalore tiled roofs and Indian patent stone floors. The cook-room and servants^ quarters
are m a detached building of a design in keeping with the main building.

The new European Mard for the Civil Hospital, Dharwar, which contains accommodation
lor tour patients and is equipped in the best European style was completed.
A Maternity Ward in the Civil Hospital at Hyderabad was nearly completed. It
consists ol an operating room with a ward on either side and a verandah 10 feet wide all round.

Annual administration report of the Bombay Presidency The name given to each of the three divisions of the territory of the East India Company, and later the British Raj, on the Indian subcontinent. , providing a summary record of the main events and developments in each department of the Government of Bombay From c. 1668-1858, the East India Company’s administration in the city of Bombay [Mumbai] and western India. From 1858-1947, a subdivision of the British Raj. It was responsible for British relations with the Gulf and Red Sea regions. during the financial year 1909-10.
The report is divided into two parts. Part I contains a report ‘SUMMARY’ (ff 139-153). Part II (ff 154-208) is comprised of chapters I-IX.
Part II is divided into the following chapters, some of which are further divided into sub-headings:
